We spent a very relaxing and very peaceful week-end at Hillybilly Haven on 7/23 and 7/24. It was the best time we have had in awhile and well worth the money which is the same as a Hotel room only we had mother nature as a view. We had deer and rabbits at our back door when we woke up and just the sounds of nature it was incredible. I would reccomend to anyone looking for a week-end of peace and relaxation stopping by Hillybilly Haven you couldn't ask for nicer Hosts and the Cabin's are the best so don't hesitate to give them a try You won't be sorry!!!

How wonderful to this exists this close to home. My wife and I plan a spring 2001 trip over night. Just for the heck of it. Who built these wonderful camps and how much? We spent a week last summer fishing Stonewall lake and stayed at another place as we did not know about you cabins. We visited your Haven and a lady showed us around and inside a cabin, she had the keys, and we thought they were great. We, (my Wife & I )would like to spend another week fishing Stonewall again but this time stay at your cabins. We will be towing a bass boat and keep it at the marina. We had our dog with us and the lady said that would not be a problem. The dog always goes fishing with us and would never be left alone in the cabin at anytime. The dog has never been a problem and behaved to the point she has never been an outside kept dog or ever at a kennel. The dog is a medium size collie/german sheppard mix. She would be getting a crew cut hair cut so hair would not be a problem either. We are both over 60 and responsible people. We would like to reserve a cabin for the last week of May. The date would be, arrive the afternoon of the 24th to 31st of May. If you have an open cabin and our pet is not against your restrictions we would like to make reservations. Please let us know if this is O.K. and what the 7 days rental would be.Thank you for your time and attention.

The week I spent at your little "haven" was one to remember. The weather didn't cooperate, but it didn't matter in the cozy cabin. Quite and serene. The cabin was immaculate (and didn't have that cabin musty smell at all)and a real joy to stay in. The hosts were very accomodating and kind. My dream has always been to live in a log cabin one day. If that day never comes, at least I have the memory of a week spent in a perfect little cabin. Thank you. I wish you much success, for you have a wonderful idea for people like me. A friend of mine and I stumbled across the cabins one night on our long drive back to Canada, after a vacation. We wanted to camp but due to recent weather decided that we should stay indoors. Hillbilly Haven offered the best of both worlds to us, with a great cabin, excellent service (everyone was so friendly) and of course the fire pit right next to a pond. I loved it so much that I am making it a stop on my honeymoon in less than a month. There's no doubt in my mind that I will be comming back here everytime I'm visiting West Virginia. Well, I came back a second time, this time as a stop on our honeymoon. Again, everything was perfect and the hospitality was outstanding. My wife was in Heaven with the great views, the fresh air and the horseback riding. Kevin and Chris were so great and little "Meanbean" made our vaction for us. My husband and I spent 3 nights there on our honeymoon and we can't say enough about how nice it was. The cabin was super clean, stocked with all the necessities, and most of all it was peaceful and relaxing. You can't find a better place to visit for the great prices. We'll be back soon !!

I just spent the long weekend in cabin #5 with my family. My extended family and some friends were in all of the other cabins. I was extremely pleased with the cabin and enjoyed my stay. I was pleased at how nice and clean everything was and how many amenities there were. I wished that there had been a beach nearer to the location to take the kids swimming. I do realize that you have no control over that though. Thank you for a great place to stay. I will be calling to book another stay this year and I believe we will be booking a whole week next year for all seven cabins again.

We stayed in the Just For Two cabin for our honeymoon. It was very romantic and had everything we could possibly need. It was very quiet and peaceful, which ment a lot to us. They allow pets outside which was very convenient since most places prohibit pets all together. We couldn't ask for a better place to spend our honeymoon and it met and exceeded all of our expectations. They really care about customer satisfaction, we will definitely return.

We rented Cabin 5 for 2 nights over New Years 2010. The cabin was absolutely awesome. It was exceptionally clean and well worth the rental fee. I was amazed at the well stocked kitchen -- there was even an ice cream scoop and a corkscrew. It is definitely the most stocked kitchenette I've ever seen. I was impressed that salt and pepper was included and detergent to wash both dishes and clothes was available to us. Our only problem that ESPN seemed to be blocked on the satellite and we had two sports fans with us! I would highly recommend Hillbilly Haven Cabins to anyone looking for a great place to stay a couple of nights or a week. It is definitely a great place to "hide out." Great work, Rick!! Just a note to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at Cabin 3 this past week! Our son is a jr at WVWC and our only regret is that we did not find the cabins until this year! We definitely will be staying here every time we come up to see him! The staff was amazing - especially Jeff. Everything was perfect! Can't wait to come back!

We stayed in Cabin 5 and I can tell you it was great! The cabin was clean and well kept. It's a nice QUIET camp area so if you are looking for just some quiet time to spend alone with your family, this is the place. The shower does lack in the water pressure but it's sufficient. The stove, oven and kitchen in general was very clean. Beds were comfortable (could use new pilows in the downstairs bedroom) We really enjoyed our 3day / 2 night stay and would recommend it!
